Spa Etiquette

Due to Covid-19, ZaSpa has taken measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers and associates by requiring all guests and staff to follow newly identified safety standards. The policies, guidelines & procedures listed below will be updated as we adjust to new recommendations and practices.

RESERVATIONS

Only guests with reserved treatment times will be allowed to enter the Spa. Accompanying guests are not permitted to wait in the Spa and day passes are not being offered.

SPA ACCESS & FACILITIES

Length of time in the Spa is now limited. Guests may arrive no sooner than 15 minutes before their scheduled treatment time, and can stay up to 30 minutes after the end of their treatment to utilize the showers and locker area while maintaining physical distancing. Guests having only a nail service will not have access to the Spa locker rooms or lounges. At this time, THE INFRARED SAUNA is CLOSED.

SAFETY

If you have a fever or are experiencing symptoms of the flu or Covid19, please cancel your appointment prior to arrival. Upon arrival, your temperature will be taken. Guests displaying an above normal temperature will not be granted access and the individual’s services will be cancelled at no charge. Guests & associates are required to wear masks while in the Spa. Exceptions to wearing a mask include when a guest is lying face down on a massage table or while showering. A mask will be provided if you arrive without one.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURES

The check-in process will take approximately 5 minutes to allow for temperature check, completion of consultation form, locker assignment and changing of clothes. For body treatments and massages, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your treatment start time but no sooner than 30 minutes prior. For Nail services please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your start time but no sooner than 30 minutes prior. Later arrivals may affect treatment start time and we will accommodate the remaining time with full treatment cost required.

CLEANING PROCEDURES

The Spa associates will take added measures to disinfect all hi-touch areas, work stations and treatment rooms. We ask all guests to wash their hands frequently for at least 20 seconds and to use the sanitizer stations throughout the Spa.

PERSONAL TOUCH

Spas are a place to experience and feel healing through touch. During this time, we will minimize personal touches to treatments only. Please pardon us if we do not shake hands or offer hugs.

PAYMENT & GRATUITY

The Spa does not add a gratuity to our services as tipping is discretionary. For excellent service, a 20% gratuity is customary. We will finalize your bill at the end of your visit. Please note that the spa does not accept Cash and will not have Cash available. If you would like to tip your therapist in cash, please bring the exact amount and request an envelope at our spa desk.

WHAT TO WEAR

ZaSpa will provide a plush robe and a pair of slippers for your comfort prior to changing so that you can unwind in the relaxation area. There your therapist will greet you and escort you to your treatment room.

SPA ETIQUETTE

ZaSpa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect our peaceful ambiance as well as the privacy of other guests.

VALUABLES & JEWELRY

Jewelry is not recommended to be worn throughout the spa or during treatments. If you bring valuables and jewelry with you, a place will be provided for their safekeeping, but ZaSpa will not be held responsible for them.

CELL PHONES

We appreciate that devices be turned to silent mode when you arrive to allow you and our guests to relax.

SMOKING

ZaSpa is a smoke free facility.

CONSULTATION & MEDICAL CONDITIONS

All guests must complete a consultation form before treatment, where any health concerns or special needs can be addressed. Please advise us if you suffer from any medical conditions, injuries and allergies, or if you have any special requests when making your booking as some treatments may not be safe or suitable to be carried out.

PREGNANCY

Please advise us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding at the time of booking as some treatments may not be safe or suitable to be carried out.

HOME CARE

It is recommended after some treatments, i.e. exfoliation, chemical peelings, that you avoid sunlight. Your therapist will have recommendations and post-care suggestions for you following the treatment.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

We recommend you drink water before and after treatment to help flush toxins from the body.

Please allow sufficient time before your treatment to digest after eating, at least 2-3 hours is recommended for digestion before treatment.

CHILDREN

ZaSpa is an adult facility. Children under the age of 16 will not be able to have treatments at the Spa or use the Spa facility. There are some treatments available for under aged guests.

CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY

In the event you need to cancel your appointment with us, please contact the Spa at least 24 hours’ in advance. Failure to notify the Spa within the notification period, and all no-shows, will result in a full charge of the treatment booked without refund.

All Spa pricing is subject to change without notice.

We want all our guests to feel comfortable during their visit to ZaSpa. If you have any concern or queries regarding your treatment or the facilities, please speak with your therapist or Spa Director who will ensure that you have the best possible experience.

HOURS OF OPERATION

ZaSpa opens daily Monday thru Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 9am-8pm and Sunday 9am-6pm.
